Week 1 Google Forms:
They can be used for surveys and quizzes. This week you saw how Google Forms could be used for surveys that were engaging as they changed every time a new student submitted their response. Just a form with one blank question can be used many times over for a quick class quiz. As they are part of your GMail account they are free and have no restrictions on number of responders or questions that you can use, which commercial providers, naturally, impose. So they are great to get your students to use them too!

Justpaste.it - great for sharing links. An essential tool for a class which you are new to or does not have a central place to easily share links. As well as creating links, it also creates a QR code to help students with mobiles to connect quickly and easily.
Here is a link to a short video on how to use Justpaste.it for sharing links: LINK. I used Screencastify, as an extension to Chrome, to create it. However, I am thinking of changing to Loom as it provides a closed caption option.
